Over last few weeks we've had a number of concerns raised with us with regards to a planned memorial event on the 13th of November in Houghton Regis.

We understand that most of concerns were with regards to some suggestion of use of off road bikes and vehicles. 

I would like to reassure you that we have been in contact with the family members and we support them with regards this event. 

We understand that family will be just gathering with the friends and releasing balloons and lanterns in the memory of their family member. 

Together with our partners from central Bedfordshire council we will have resources in place to ensure that this will not affect the wider community.
